I'm Dani Wright, That Witch Next Door, instructor and mentor for aspiring astrologers and students of energy work and witchcraft. I'm an eclectic pagan witch with focuses in death work, kitchen magick, cosmic witchcraft, and tarot.

 

As a Scorpio Sun, Pisces Moon, Leo Rising in this life, I'm passionate about offering community and support that facilitates learning, promotes accountability, and drives the authentic journey.

That Witch Next Door provides safe community and support for aspiring astrologers and students of energy work & witchcraft to help them tap into their authentic power to strengthen intuitive development and achieve wholehearted fulfillment.

Witches and practitioners of all experience levels, income levels, ages, races, genders, sexualities, abilities, and backgrounds are welcome here.

My Story

For years now I've been using both astrology and tarot to improve my life's path. I've worked through past trauma, strengthened my communication skills, taken my spiritual practice to a completely new level, and I've empowered my self-love practice, all of which has put me in a position to be a better mother, partner, friend, teacher, business owner, and so much more. ​​

 

I specialize in shadow work, and am very active in my own shadow work practice, so you'll never catch me pretending I have it all figured out. I believe each life cycle is a journey of constant growth, and that this isn't a linear process. If you believe your doctor or therapist should practice what they preach, your mentor should too.

When I'm not communing with the cosmos and conjuring magick, you can find me watching horror movies, chasing my daughter and pup around the house, or cooking an elaborate dinner with my husband. I love reading, studying ancient history, creative writing, and trying out different DIY projects I find on Pinterest. 

My pronouns are she/her pronouns, I identify as queer/bisexual, I’m a proud, ethical kinkster, and I participate in ethical nonmonogamy.

I'm also neurodivergent, and I make it a point to promote mental health in the work that I do. I am always trying to learn more about how I can promote and grow accessibility on all of my platforms.
